With our amazing hut systems and track network starting from our little alpine village of St Arnaud we are the Tramping Mecca of New Zealand, in fact for keen trampers you can walk to Lewis Pass and not cross a road, Arthur’s Pass and only cross one road or cross two to get to Mt Cook. Leave your car parked up and enjoy your feet.

Our Lake Rotoiti, St Arnaud, is the best sheltered inland waterway in the top half of the South island, ideal for our annual Classic Boat Show and water related activities, be it water skiing, rowing, kayaking or sailing.

Lake Rotoiti and the surrounding area are very popular for multi sport events. Our Loop the Lake running race is iconic.

In the seven years we have owned and operated Nelson Lakes Motels and the Travers-Sabine Lodge we have never stopped exploring and experiencing the Park.  When we first discovered Nelson Lakes National Park we were enchanted and have had a passion to share it ever since.
