From Picton and Blenheim - Travel to Renwick, turning off at Highway 63, continue up the scenic Wairau Valley for 93km's and cross the Tophouse saddle into St Arnaud. From Christchurch - travel north on Highway 7 through the Lewis Pass to Springs Junction, turn onto Highway 65, travel through Murchison, turning off at Kawateri Junction onto Highway 63. From the West Coast - travel north from Greymouth or East from Westport, through Inangahua Junction and Murchison, turning off at Kawateri Junction onto Highway 63.
