Welcome to Nelson Lakes Motels in St Arnaud. We are well aware of the kind of experience our Kiwi Guests and Overseas Guests look forward to during their stay at Nelson Lakes National Park.
Our Lodge can be booked exclusively and is ideal for schools, universities, corporate groups, club and family functions.
Nelson Lakes National Park is located in the northernmost ranges of the Southern Alps. Although best-known for it's lakes both large and small, this 102,000 hectare park offers tranquil beech forest, craggy mountains, clear streams, open tussock lands and river-edge clearings.
St Arnaud is the gateway to Nelson Lakes National Park. From this alpine village on the shores of Lake Rotoiti, a network of tracks explore the lake edge and the Park's glacial features and beech forests. Both short walks and full day walks are possible, making St Arnaud an ideal place for walkers of all ages and abilities.
Activities all year round: walking, tramping, kayaking, sailing, fishing, skiing, camping, ice skating, snowshoeing, mountain biking and special events.
